Description
This bay had eaten a good breakfast of eel grass from the Salt River. It was time to cross. The Salt River wild horse herd is a treasure in the Tonto National Forest, managed by the Arizona Department of Agriculture in partnership with a third party group. Today, they are thriving with the help of public citizens who care, and state and federal branches of our government. Horses are some of the most majestic, sentient, and spiritual creatures I have had the pleasure of resting among.
