Whatever he sees up there, he can access, and that amazes me. This huge creature can climb a tree in a flash. Had I been as close to him as my lens suggests, I would not be here. He is a presence, this grizzly bear, this amazing and magnificent grizzly bear. I could not take my eyes off of him, the muscular structure beneath his thick coat, the way he moves, his long claws and the manner in which he is able to manipulate them. His eyes can express a fierceness unlike any other or a warm welcome. Look, do not touch!
